- Heart everything you like
I am guilty of browsing through Shein for hours and never buying anything. It is quite therapeutic in fact. I make sure I heart (favorite or save) the items I like. This way you can track it if it goes on sale or when there is a good deal happening.
- Never Pay Shipping
Unless you urgently need something for an event or something, never buy anything when there isn’t FREE SHIPPING available. Because I don’t really need clothes, I wait until the Shein offers FREE SHIPPING before going crazy. I also never purchase shipping Insurance – you don’t really need it unless you have bought hundreds of dollars’ worth of things. You get tracking on your package anyways.
- Flash Sale
I always like to shop from the Flash Sale Section. This is where you can find heavily discounted stuff, available at sale price for only 24 hours. You can really pick up great bargains here. If you haven’t seen my Shein Haul video, check it out to see what I am talking about. Link is in the description box and also in the I above.
- Coupon Codes
Shein always gives you coupon codes to use at checkout. You may win this in a game, get a code for free shipping or other discounts. You can view all your available coupons on your profile on the APP. Note most of these coupons require minimum spends but its worth a check anyways.
Always look at the reviews section of any garment you are buying. Shein is one place where you can get honest reviews with images of actual item. If the garment looks great on the model, but a buyer has posted a not so great image of the the garment in the review section, its better to skip buying that. Most likely it will be a MISS.
Also remember to review your purchases yourself with images to get those extra points!
- Size Up
Shein has a bit of a sizing issue. It runs smaller than what you would buy at Target or Zara. Its safer to buyer 1 size up to avoid disappointment. Remember you can always take it in if its too big but can’t do much if it’s too small.
And there we have it people. 9 tips to help you get bang for your buck when shopping on Shein. Do keep in mind, you get what you pay for on Shein, so if you have bought a $5 top, don’t expect to get amazing quality.
